Mitcham Girls High School

Student Leadership

Mitcham Girls High School prides itself on encouraging confidence and leadership in young women.

Through such events as International Women's Day, we showcase the incredible contributions of female leaders around the world and provide the girls with positive role models from all areas of life. We teach our students that they can work alongside men as leaders in any field of their choosing.

There are many opportunities throughout the school for girls to take on leadership roles. These roles are both formal and informal, with some of our most successful programs including the Student Representative Council (SRC), Peer Leaders, Maths Leaders and House Captains.
